Course Description

The Bachelor of Medical Lab Technician (BMLT) is a 3-year undergraduate program that trains students in medical laboratory practices, including the collection, analysis, and interpretation of biological samples for diagnostic purposes. The course covers subjects such as microbiology, hematology, clinical biochemistry, immunology, and laboratory equipment handling. Students gain practical experience in medical labs, learning to perform tests and use diagnostic tools. Graduates can pursue careers as medical lab technicians, hematology or microbiology technicians, lab supervisors, and more in hospitals, diagnostic centers, and research labs.
